Who We Are

Hey there, we’re Brian and Justine - North Carolina residents by way of California’s Bay Area.

One minute we were in our 800 sqft big city bungalow, planting tomatoes, kale, pumpkins, and potatoes in our backyard-turned-garden. Then the next we packed it all up, moved across the country, and settled on a 10 acre property to start a farm. Wanting to grow more of our own food back in California, we began watching countless YouTube videos about homesteading, planting the seed for us to one day have a future farm of our own.

Now here we are.

We’ve set out to grow our own food, raise our own meat, and create our own little organic ecosystem so we could move towards a slower, more sustainable, and seasonal way of life.

Feel free to tag along on our journey via our YouTube channel.
